Single national hierarchy: one self-signed root (AUTORIDAD CERTIFICADORA DE PANAMA, RSA-4096, valid to 2053) operated by the DNFE at the Registro Público de Panamá, with two subordinate CAs (CA DE GOBIERNO DE PANAMA and CA PANAMA CLASE 2). Certificates fetched directly over HTTPS from the DNFE's official cacerts repository by the pa monitor (scripts/monitors/sources/pa.mjs). RSA throughout.
